My favorite thing about being a doula is:
Getting to bear witness to the strength and wisdom of birthing people.

Hi there, I'm Isabelle! I'm a DONA (Doulas of North America) birth doula and a certified VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) doula. I've always known that I wanted to work with families, and becoming a doula has been a way for me to tap into my desire to help families have autonomy and sacredness in their birth experiences. My work as a doula has forged the way for me to become a midwife and I plan to complete my certification in the Fall of 2025.
My role as a doula is to help my clients move into the seat of the parent, making their own decisions based on their intuition and knowledge. I help my clients have autonomy in their care by providing reliable informational resources for them to make their decisions from. As a doula, I hold space for my clients and protect that space so that they can stay focused and in their element. I bring a grounding and calming energy to my clients, helping them feel safe and secure however their birth experience unfolds.
When I'm not doing doula work, you can find me snowboarding with my girlfriend, dancing my heart out, and tending to my hobby farm.
