Meet Lucia

Hi there, I'm Lucia! I am a certified birth + postpartum doula and my passion is connecting with people. When I was a teenager, I asked my mom what she thought my 'skills' were to which my mom replied, "You are a great friend!" Immediately I moaned, "That won't get me into college!" Many years later, after having a doula at my own birth, I truly started to understand how my passion of finding connection with people could actually turn into a perfect career fit.

The arrival of a new baby is filled with many emotions and new experiences and I absolutely love helping families navigate this transition. I strive to do this by being a solid support throughout pregnancy, labor and postpartum. Whether that comes in the form of a listening ear, providing space and options in decision making, hands on support or suggesting resources in our community, I want to ensure my clients always feel taken care of.

In my spare time, I love to hike in the mountains, go camping with my family and enjoy a good yerba mate!
