Supporting doulas as we support families.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR UTAH DOULAS WHO:

  • Have attended at least 5 births as a birth doula and/or worked with at least 5 postpartum clients as a postpartum doula
  • Are outgoing, down to earth, and able to engage easily with new people
  • Are able to engage easily with partners, helping them to see their innate value and power in the birth room
  • Are interested in building community and excited to be part of a team of doulas
  • Welcome the opportunity to talk through hard things, take suggestions, and communicate effectively
  • Are allies for marginalized birthing people

PLUS:

  • Doula training from a recognized training organization
  • Doula certification is highly recommended though not required
  • Relevant birth and/or newborn care experience
  • Infant CPR certification
  • Active liability insurance

OUR VALUES

We proudly support all birthing people and serve families from a variety of backgrounds and structures. Our website and written materials use gender-neutral language and we adapt our language to each client’s preferences. We specialize in supporting LGBTQIA+ clients and offer scholarships and sliding scale options for families with financial barriers.
