Meet Alex

Hi, I'm Alex! I’m a proud Gay Latina Birth Doula and Direct Entry Midwife specializing in holistic, culturally rooted care for families. My work centers on empowerment, informed choice, and reclaiming ancestral birth practices. I also offer placenta encapsulation as part of my commitment to full-spectrum reproductive support.

As a birth worker, I have deep confidence, trust, and respect for the birthing person. I believe in my clients’ capabilities in childbirth and actively seek to facilitate their preferences with comprehensive, individualized perinatal care. I work to equip clients with the tools and resources to make empowered, informed decisions regarding their care. My mission is to create affirming, safe, and healing spaces for all birthing people—especially those from marginalized communities.

Outside of birth work you can find me hanging with my awesome crew—my girlfriend and three kids, a snorty sunbathing Frenchie, and a hairless cat with attitude. We’re big on sunshine, good food, spontaneous adventures, and trying anything at least once.
