Kortney is a Doulas of North America (DONA) trained birth doula. As a fiercely passionate and empathetic person, the people in her life tend to refer to her as their “hype girl,” and she hope to be that for everyone she meets! In her free time you can find her cuddling her dog (a Pomeranian named Denali), paddle boarding, hiking with her partner, getting coffee with a friend or listening to a good book.
After giving birth to her son at a young age, Kortney knew immediately that she had a passion for the empowering experience of birth. She’s here to hold space, provide continuous support, advocate for and empower the birthing person and their partner. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, her work is rooted in inclusivity and empowerment. Every birthing person deserves support, compassion, resources and the most positive birth possible.
